Christine M. Cooper

Cleveland, Ohio

Christine has more than ten years of experience representing clients in complex business disputes. She assists clients in prosecuting and defending a variety of cases, including:

  • business torts
  • employer intentional torts
  • breach of contract
  • patent, trademark and copyright infringement
  • misappropriation of trade secrets
  • residential and commercial construction
  • residential and commercial foreclosure
  • landlord and tenant

Christine has a passion for technology and has found ways to incorporate that passion into her practice. She is experienced in all facets of e-discovery, including collection and processing documents for review, managing large scale document reviews, and preparing and implementing document retention policies (which ultimately saves her clients time and money). Christine stays current on the latest legal technology making her litigation practice run smoothly and efficiently.

Christine also takes seriously her obligation to help those that cannot afford legal services by volunteering her time. Christine has represented many parents fighting for custody of their children in court-appointed cases before the Ohio Courts of Appeals. Prior to moving back to Cleveland, she was an active volunteer for the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project. Currently, Christine volunteers for the Ohio Justice and Policy Center, helping individuals obtain Certificates of Qualification for Employment and advising individuals seeking clemency.

When she is not working, you will usually find Christine and her family hiking around one of the many great local parks, watching the sunset over the lake, or biking.
